Texas’ Will Licon skyrocketed to second all time in the men’s 200-yard IM as he delivered Texas’ fourth title of the meet at the 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s Championships.
Licon unleashed a 1:40.04 for the title, behind only David Nolan’s record of 1:39.38. Â That’s Texas’ third win ever in the event. Â Nate Dusing won in 2001, while Austin Surhoff claimed the title in 2010.
With four wins already, Texas is already closing in on its record of 11 event victories from 2001.
