Wang Lizhuo has swept the breaststroke events at the 2016 Chinese Summer National Championships. On day two he swam a National Record breaking time of 56.90. This was just faster than the 56.64 he clocked at April’s Olympic Trials.
In day three’s 200 breaststroke, he clocked a 2:10.95 to win that event. In April, he posted a 2:11.86.
On the women’s side, Suo Ran won the 100 breaststroke in 1:08.47 while He Yun topped the 200 in 2:29.54.
Zhang Heng won the men’s 100 butterfly with a 53.69 while Wang Pudong touched first in the 200 in 2:00.50.
