Vsevolod Zanko won the men’s 100-meter breaststroke title at the 2016 Russian Nationals.
Zanko, one of three swimmers to clear 1:00, won in 59.72. Â That swim pushed him to 10th in the world rankings as he also cleared the Russian Olympic cut of 59.99.
Kirill Prigoda and Anton Chupkov set up a potential swimoff for the second Olympic roster spot by tying for second with 59.94s. Â Both times are under the Russian Olympic qualifying time with just two spots open for the team.
