Following his American Record in the leadoff of the 400 medley relay, Ryan Murphy discusses the race and his feelings about the team’s efforts in the meet thus far. He discusses his team’s energy, which he describes as an extension of what they have been doing all year, as well as his excitement to return to full time training with the team after spending some time in a training camp at altitude. He also spends time discussing his second-place finish in the 200 IM, and in particular his breaststroke split which he felt showed improvement.
