After finishing as the runner-up in the 200 free at the NCAA Championships, Louisville freshman Mallory Comerford wanted to wait for senior teammate Kelsi Worrell to speak to the media. But Worrell ended up joining the fray about three minutes in.
In the video below, both swimmers discuss their swims and extremely successful night for Louisville. Worrell discussed her American record-smashing performance in the 100 fly and Comerford her gutty effort in the 200 free and both the 200 medley relay which finished second, and they also reacted to their teammates greeting them with big hugs at the end of their lanes post-race.
