Robert Finke, 15, of St. Petersburg Aquatics has been making a name for himself both in the pool and in the open water arena. The youngest of three swimmers its clear chlorine runs in the Finke family. Older sister Autumn and Summer swim for the University of Florida and Florida State University respectively.
This past year Finke qualified for the 2016 Olympic Trials in the 1500-meter freestyle after clocking a time of 15:46.39 at the Orlando stop of the Arena Pro Swim Series. He also competed in the U.S. Open Water 5K and was crowned the 18-and-under champion with a time of 57:51.01.
