Massachusetts is leading the way for the men, while the Richmond women are atop the leaderboard after day one of the 2016 Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships.
Massachusetts is currently in first place on the men’s side with 115 points. Following them in the standings are St. Bonaventure and La Salle (98), Saint Louis and George Washington (70), George Mason (67), Davidson (56) and Fordham (30).
The UMass men’s team, winners of the 2015 championship, finished first in the 800-yd freestyle relay with a time of 6:32.37. They also finished second in the 200-yd medley relay (1:29.61).
