Several swimmers cleared Olympic Trials cuts at the 2016 Speedo Sectionals Geneva, including ASC’s Timothy Squires in the men’s 50-meter free.
Squires (23.08), Meli Malani (23.18) and Daniel Kanorr (23.29) all made the Olympic Trials cut in the men’s 50-meter free.
Ohio State’s Halime Zeren raced her way to an Olympic Trials cut in the women’s 200-meter back with a 2:13.21. Â ASC’s Kendall Shields, 15, just missed the cut of 2:16.59 with a 2:16.81 for second. Â Riptide’s Kelly Leonard placed third in 2:17.37.
