Taylor Mckeown vaulted to third in the world in the 200 breaststroke with a 2:21.45 in finals at the 2016 Australian Championships. She was well under the Australian qualifying time of 2:23.06, and much faster than her 2:24.77 in Semi Finals.
Japan’s Rie Kanato currently leads the world rankings with a time of 2:19.65. Yulia Efimova sits second in the world in 2:21.41.
Georgia Bohl finished second tonight in 2:23.95, shy of the Australian qualifying time. Tessa Wallace was third in 2:24.37.
