Night three of the A3 Performance Invitational hosted by the University of California in San Diego started with a bang.
UCLA junior Madison White blazed to a victory in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:54.70. White’s won the event by over two seconds. Stanford’s Patrick Conaton brought home the men’s title with a time of 1:43.26. He also won the race by over two seconds.
Sandra Soe of UCLA won the 1650-yard freestyle. Soe finished her race in 16:25.06 and won by 14 seconds.
The UCLA women continued their roll into the 100-yard freestyle. Caroline McTaggart won the event for the Bruins in 49.37. Stanford’s Sam Perry won the men’s event in 43.21.
