A day after posting a pair of sizzlers, Sarah Sjostrom was back at it again in the women’s 100-meter fly at the 2016 Swedish Open in Stockholm.
Sjostrom unleashed a blistering time of 55.68 for the win. Â That’s the second-fastest time ever, behind only Sjostrom’s world record 55.64.
Sjostrom now owns the top three times ever with a 55.64, 55.68 and 55.74, while Dana Vollmer is the only other sub-56 swimmer with a 55.98
Meanwhile, Kacper Majchrzak topped the men’s 200-meter free in 1:48.55 with Adam Paulsson taking second in 1:49.49. Â Alex di Giorgio placed third in 1:49.61.
