While competing at the Kentucky State High School Championships today, Sacred Heart Academy lowered the national independent high school record in the girls 200-yard medley relay.
The foursome of Tonner DeBeer (25.76), Kennedy Lohman (27.97), Asia Seidt (24.07) and Brooke Bauer (22.81) turned in a winning time of 1:40.61.
That swim cleared the 1:40.73 set by Carondelet’s Madison White (25.68), Allison Gargalikis (27.52), Chelsea Ray (24.59) and Chelsea Chenault (22.94) back in 2011.
