Finals at day two of the University of Georgia Fall Invitational started off with a bang.
Virginia’s women’s 200-yard medley relay posted the fastest time in the country. The Cavalier team of backstroker Courtney Bartholomew, breaststroker Laura Simon, butterflier Ellen Thomas and freestyler Caitlin Cooper posted a time of 1:35.69, easily under the NCAA ‘A’ time standard.
Auburn won the men’s relay. The Tigers’ relay of backstroker Kyle Darmody, breaststroker Michael Duderstadt, butterflier Arthur Mendes and freestyler Peter Holada posted an ‘A’ time standard with a time of 1:24.56.
