Robert Glinta posted the top swim of the night with a winning effort in the men’s 100-meter back at the 2016 Romanian Nationals meet.
Glinta, who is ranked 13th in the world in the 100 back with a 53.43 from the European Championships, won the event in 54.32 tonight. Â Daniel Martin took second in 56.88 with Andrei Anghel snagging third in 57.44.
Ana Iulia Dascal picked up the women’s 200-meter free title in 2:04.55. Â Maria Claudia Gadea touched second in 2:06.73 with Victorita Bogdaneci placing third in 2:06.88.
Ionut Radu raced his way to the men’s 200-meter free title in 1:53.32. Â Radu Duican took second in 1:53.75 with Andrei Rusen taking third in 1:54.45.
