Swimming World’s chief photographer Peter Bick has been down on deck at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials capturing all of the action. Day two saw Kevin Cordes, Cody Miller, and Leah Smith become first time Olympians, while Katie Ledecky grabbed her first Olympic event for the Rio Games with a solid win in the women’s 400 free.
Day two also set up impressive finals heats in the men’s and women’s 100 backstrokes, as well as a tight field in the men’s 200 free highlighted by a trio of Texans.
