Ranomi Kromowidjojo blazed her way to a meet record in the women’s 50-meter free at the short course Indian Ocean Meet.
Kromowidjojo won the splash-and-dash with a time of 23.76, not too far off her sizzling 23.24 world record from the Duel in the Pool.
Femke Heemskerk finished second in 24.35 to move to 19th in the world rankings. Â Zsuzsanna Jakabos placed third in 24.94.
Krisztian Takacs threw down a 21.65 to win the men’s 50-meter free. Â Bradley Vincent took second in 22.18 with Lorys Bourelly earning third in 22.58.
