Ranomi Kromowidjojo blasted a meet-record time in the women’s 50-meter fly at the short course Indian Ocean Meet.
Kromowidjojo won the sprint in 25.39, vaulting to sixth in the world rankings in the event. Â Emma Morel took second in 27.31 with Lara Grangeon grabbing third in 28.67.
Kromowidjojo followed that up with a win in the women’s 100-meter free. She clocked a 52.57, which was a second off her third-ranked season best of 51.39 from the European Championships.
Femke Heemskerk placed second in 52.95 with Zsuzsanna Jakabos rounding out the podium with a third-place 55.20.
