Pal Joensen closed the night at the Danish Open with a FINA A cut in the men’s 1500-meter free.
Joensen clocked a time of 15:04.13, while Anton Ipsen finished second in 15:07.70. Â Both cleared the FINA A cut of 15:14.77. Â Oli Mortensen took third overall in 15:38.41.
Jeanette Ottesen claimed the women’s 100-meter fly title in 57.32, clearing the FINA A cut of 58.74. Â Emilie Beckmann took second in 59.13 with Caroline Erichsen earning third in 1:00.69.
Paul Biedermann of Germany clocked a 49.82 to win the men’s 100-meter free. Anders Lie finished second in 49.90 with Kevin Witt Christensen earning third overall in 50.34.
