Mie Nielsen blasted the women’s 100-meter back finale at the 2016 Edinburgh Invitational.
Nielsen threw down a sizzling time of 59.16, going out in 28.95. Â That performance shot her to second in the world behind only Emily Seebohm’s 59.03 from the Aquatic Super Series.
Ruta Meilutyte demonstrated some consistency as she topped the women’s 50-meter breast tournament.
Meilutyte had already jumped to the top of the world rankings in the women’s 50-meter breast with a 30.40 split as part of her second-ranked 1:05.82 100-meter breast earlier this weekend.
