The Michigan Wolverines did what they had to for the squad to be in a great position to win the Big Ten title during the final day of prelims at the 2016 Big Ten Women’s Championships.
With the mile and platform diving still left to go, both of which Michigan has more potential point-scorers than Indiana, the Wolverines put themselves in a good spot to win the Big Ten title this evening. Â Heading into the mile, Michigan has 16 finalists (6/5/5), while Indiana has 15 (6/4/5).
Michigan has not won a Big Ten women’s title since 2004, when they beat Penn State 604.5-590.5.
