Just days after the release of his tell-all story with Sports Illustrated, superstar Michael Phelps had a tough time with his first swim at the 2015 Arena Pro Swim Series Minneapolis.
Phelps, swimming in the second-to-last A flight heat, wound up 10th overall with a 1:51.34. Â That’s well back of his former training partner Conor Dwyer’s top-seeded 1:48.95, and kept Phelps out of a loaded A final.
Louisville’s Joao De Lucca picked up the second seed with a time of 1:49.68, while SwimMAC’s Ryan Lochte made the finale with a third-seeded 1:49.69.
