In the final day of the 2016 British Para-International nine National records were set.
Hannah Russell set the S12 British record in prelims of the 50 freestyle, stopping the clock at 27.22. At night, Russell lowered that to a 27.01 to win the event. Stephanie Slater finished second in 30.89, in the S8 classification. Eleanor Robinson touched in 35.63 to finish third in the S6 classification.
Matthew Wylie set the S9 British record in prelims of the men’s 50 freestyle, touching the wall in 25.96. In finals, he dropped the record down to a 25.69. Ryan Crouch finished second in 26.43, also in the S9 classification. Josef Craig posted the S8 British record in 27.27 to finish in third place.
