Westminster Senior Matthew Baurle had a fantastic morning in the last preliminary session of the President’s Athletic Conference. He grabbed the top seed in the 200 breaststroke, breaking his own Pool and PAC meet record from 2013, and Ben Gutmann’s 2010 PAC open record. The swim set himself up with a near 8 second lead going into tonight. Kevin Dunigan of Washington and Jefferson College followed for the second seed in 2:09.11, while Adam Smale will go in third with a 2:10.04 morning swim.
On the women’s side, Megan Smith of Grove City claimed the top spot with a time of 2:26.27. She was followed by Samantha Tower of Westminster who swam a 2:27.92, while Sara Peace was third in 2:29.63.
