BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University head swimming coach Ray Looze announced the addition of Matt Bowe to the coaching staff on Monday.
Bowe will serve as an assistant swimming coach for both the Indiana men’s and women’s teams.
“Matt Bowe brings valuable international coaching experience to our staff,†Looze remarked. “He is an exceptional technician, innovative and his on deck rapport with swimmers is off the charts.  Matt will coach our sprint males and females in all four strokes. His passion for swimming, his work ethic and his high level of concern for his student-athletes minces identically with our current staff.  He was just too good a fit to pass up.  I look forward to Matt contributing to Indiana’s pursuit of both Olympic and NCAA excellence.”
Bowe comes to Bloomington from Eastern Michigan University where he served as an assistant swimming coach for the past three seasons.
