Indiana’s Lilly King moved to seventh all time in the 200-yard breast at the 2016 Big Ten Women’s Championships, while teammate Miranda Tucker (2:06.52) finished second for the Hoosiers.
King clocked a sizzling time of 2:05.58. Â It downed the meet record of 2:05.98 from Minnesota’s Haley Spencer in 2013, and eclipsed Tucker’s prelims pool mark of 2:07.63.
More importantly, King’s time jumped her to seventh all time. Â Only Emma Reaney (2:04.06), Breeja Larson (2:04.48), Kierra Smith (2:04.56), Rebecca Soni (2:04.75), Caitlin Leverenz (2:04.76) and Laura Sogar (2:05.04) have finished faster.
