To kick off the second night of Columbia Speedo Sectionals, last night’s women’s 100 freestyle champion Lauren Votava of Rockford claimed her second title of the meet in the 200 free in 2:02.60. Once again Votava’s teammate Jordan Stout finished behind her, this time in a much tighter race. Stout was 2:02.77, while Greater Nebraska’s Dannie Dilsaver came in third at 2:03.80.
On the men’s side, Trident Aquatics’ Kevin Callan improved his prelims swim by two seconds to win in 1:52.59. The race for second was tight, with Rockford’s 15 year old Jack Dolan out touching Kansas City Blazer’s Louis Behnen, 1:53.15 to 1:53.23.
