Hungary’s Katinka Hosszu broke her own meet record in the women’s 400-meter IM at the 2016 European Championships during prelims.
Hosszu clocked a top time of 4:30.97 in prelims, breaking her old mark of 4:31.03 set in Berlin in 2014.
That’s not Hosszu’s best this year, she’s already clocked a European record 4:29.89 on the French Golden Tour, and will be looking to challenge Ye Shiwen’s world record of 4:28.43 during finals.
