There were no new meet records on night three finals at the 2016 TYR Fran Crippen Swim Meet of Champions, but there were still a number of quick swims.
Katie McLaughlin cracked the two minute barrier, posting a winning time of 1:59.74 in the A final of the 200 freestyle. Kirsten Vose was just behind in 2:00.07. 800 freestyle champion Stephanie Peacock finished third with a 2:00.26.
Michael Domagala was first to the wall in the men’s 200 freestyle, touching in 1:49.31. Grant Shoults battled for second, finishing in 1:50.54, ahead of Reed Malone in 1:50.99.
