Josh Prenot Leads Strong California Effort in 200 IM With 14107

California dominated the men’s 200-yard IM at the 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s Championships with Josh Prenot leading the way by moving to seventh all time in the event’s history.

With the 12th-fastest time ever, Prenot moved up to seventh all time with a 1:41.07.  He led a three-up, one-down performance by California as Ryan Murphy improved to ninth all time with a 1:41.15 for the second seed, while Andrew Seliskar snared the fourth seed in 1:41.65 to move up to 12th all time in the event.

Texas’ Will Licon, the third-ranked swimmer ever with a 1:40.09, cruised into third with a 1:41.36.
