Jacob Molacek has announced that he will be transferring to North Carolina State after spending his first to years at Auburn University.
While swimming for Creighton Prep at the 2014Â Nebraska High School State Championships, Molacek set the National High School record in the 100 breaststroke as the first high schooler under 53 seconds.
The Greater Omaha Aquatics swimmer headed to Auburn in the fall of 2014. As a freshman he was an All-American. He left the program this spring at the end of his sophomore year.
Molacek will have two years of eligibility with the Wolfpack. His best 100 breaststroke is a 52.45, swum in his first year at Auburn.
