Â SwimInfo quickly became “the most comprehensive swimming website in the world,” and still maintains that stature to this day as SwimmingWorld.com with the latest introduction of the Swimming World Vault.
The Vault, which currently has nearly 700 previous issues of Swimming World Magazine, Swimming Technique and Swimming World Biweekly, is the largest depository of swimming content in the world. Â And, it will only continue to grow as all back issues of Swimming Technique and SWIM are added into the system.
As you can see from the original announcement in the July 1996 issue, a lot has changed in the last 20 years (Tom Dolan signing a Nike contract for $100,000 was a big deal then). What hasn’t changed is Swimming World’s commitment to being the preeminent swimming publication in the world today.
