Day two of the Omaha cup continued with fast swims by Michael Andrew and Erin Oeltjen.
Anna McDonald of Club Huskers kicked off the finals session with a first place finish in the women’s 400-meter IM. McDonald stopped the clock at a 5:01.94, shrugging 1.43 seconds off her prelims time of 5:03.37. Teammate Bridget Pacilio picked up second with a time of 5:02.81. Third went to Delaney Smith of Highlands Ranch Aquatics and her final time of 5:03.01.
Taryn Collura of Club Huskers picked up a first place finish in the women’s 100-meter free with a 57.09. Greater Nebraska Swim Team’s Dannie Dilsaver and Council Bluffs Swim Club’s Mykenzie Leehy kept it close for second and third, posting final times of 58.14 and 58.24 respectively.
