Emory took down the NCAA D3 record in the women’s 200-yard free relay at the 2016 NCAA Division III Championships.
The foursome of Fiona Muir (23.13), Marcela Sanchez-Aizcorbe (22.84), Megan Taylor (22.69) and Marissa Bergh (22.76) set the record with a 1:31.42. Â That swim cleared the previous mark of 1:31.80 set by Emory back in 2010.
Denison’s Carolyn Kane, Ashley Yearwood, Kate Wright and Mary Van Leuven also cleared the previous record with a second-place 1:31.79. Â Kenyon’s Hannah Lobb, Abby Wilson, Katie Kaestner and Jenner McLeod finished third in 1:32.07.
