Stanford’s Ella Eastin picked up her second title of the meet after setting the NCAA and American record in the 200-yard IM as she crushed the field in the women’s 400-yard IM at the 2016 NCAA Division I Women’s Championships.
Eastin vaulted to sixth in the all time performers rankings with a 3:58.40.  That’s the sixth-fastest time ever in the event’s history.  Eastin was able to take a run at the NCAA and American records through 200 yards, but did not quite have the back half to match the top two swimmers of Katinka Hosszu and Caitlin Leverenz.
