Day two of the Sunshine State Conference Championships began this morning. The prelims of the men’s and women’s 400 IM, 100 butterfly and 200 free were swam.
Last night’s winner of the 200 IM, Rebecca Matthews of Lynn, had the fastest time of the morning in the women’s 400 IM with a 2:23.71. Nova Southeastern cam in second and third. Courney DeVeny went a 4:28.85 to be seeded second going into finals and behind her was her teammate Malin Westman with a 4:29.18.
