PUEBLO, Colo. (September 16, 2016) – Colorado State University-Pueblo swimming & diving would like to announce the hiring of Matthew Fremling as the Pack’s new diving coach.
“Matt Fremling brings a new perspective to CSU-Pueblo diving,” said, Head Swimming and Diving Coach, Brian Pearson. “He is eager and is an accomplished diver internationally. He also has a lot of new ideas and a demeanor that will be conducive to training our athletes.”
Fremling holds certification as a coach through USA Diving. He brings seven years of experience as a diving coach to the Pack.
Most recently, Fremling served as a diving coach at Lake Forest High School in the Chicago, Ill. suburbs. While with Lake Forest High School, Fremling guided divers to the state finals in three consecutive seasons.
