The Georgia Bulldogs (No. 4 men, No. 1 women) continued to roll on Saturday against a strong Tennessee program (No. 12 men, No. 12 women).
The Georgia women improved their record to 8-0, trouncing Tennessee 173.5-121.5. The Bulldogs took the men’s meet by a score of 165-135.
Georgia got off to a hot start in the 200-yard medley relay, beating Tennessee by only 13-hundredths of a second. The Bulldog team of backstroker Olivia Smoliga, breaststroker Emily Cameron, butterflier Kylie Stewart and freestyler Meaghan Raab touched in 1:39.49.
The Volunteers took the men’s race. The team of backstroker Sean Lehane, breaststroker Peter Stevens, butterflier Tyler Mills and freestyler Kyle Decoursey touched in 1:26.11. Stevens led the relay, splitting a 23.03 in his 50-yard breaststroke swim.
