Just a few heats after Reece Whitley lowered the 15-16 U.S. National Age Group mark in the 200-yard breast, Brett Feyerick took down the 11-12 U.S. National Age Group mark in the 50-yard backstroke at the NCAP Invite.
Feyerick posted a top time of 24.22 for the win, breaking the previous mark of 24.32 set by New Jersey’s Vinny Marciano a year ago.
Marciano set his time at the 2014 NASA Showcase Classic in Florida. That swim broke the previous time set by Destin Lasco of 24.56. Â Those two traded the NAG back and forth back in 2014.
