Boston University hosted eight teams at the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts, for the three-day Terrier Invitational.
University of Bridgeport (Tatiana Shepel, Nina Stegu, Alja Tavcar, Yekaterina Gahhokidze) won the first event of the meet, the women’s 200 medley relay, in 1:33.58. On the men’s side, Brandon McCredie, Chris Szekely, Adam Sjoholm, and Evin Rude of Army won the event in 1:22.29.
Colgate’s Morgan Cohara won the women’s 500 freestyle in a time of 4:51.45, followed closely by Boston’s Stephanie Nasson in 4:51.56. Nasson’s teammate Sarah Hargrave rounded out the top three with a 4:54.42. University of Massachusetts-Amherst’s Ales Bomprezzi shaved nearly six seconds off his prelim swim to win the men’s 500 freestyle in 4:26.91. Second went to Army’s Thomas Ottman (4:28.68), and third went to Massachusetts’s Oliver Wyeth (4:28.98).
