7 Records Fall at GLVCs Day Two Finals

At the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship, day two finals tonight, a total of seven GLVC records were broken on both the men and women’s side.

The night started off strong with the 200 freestyle relay, where the GLVC record was broken by both men and women. Truman’s women’s team of Evyn Spencer (23.35), Jamie Fitzpatrick (23.46), Alison Strickler (23.23) and Nikki Sisson (22.78) went a 1:32.82 breaking the previous GLVC record of 1:33.65. Drury came in second going a 1:33.66 with the team of Vera Johansson (23.79), Tessa Tilton (24.24), Janice Poon (23.55) and Wen Xu (22.08). UINDY’s team of Stefanie Haholiades (23.75), Malvina Choukri (23.66), Laura Bem (24.25) and Hannah Schuster (23.78) came in third place (1:35.44).
